Mr. Burnett Craige Freeman passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence, SC. He was 78 years old.

He was born July 27, 1943 in Bennettsville, SC, to the late Douglas and Sophia Irene Freeman. He attended the Bennettsville First Pentecostal Holiness Church. He retired from INA Bearing where he worked in setup and maintenance.

Mr. Freeman enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, canning, building things, working in the garden, and most of all spending time with his family.

Mr. Freeman was preceded in death by his parents listed above; brothers, Richard Freeman, Gilbert Freeman, and Lester Freeman; and a sister, Betty Lou Nelson.

He leaves behind to cherish memory: wife, Doris P. Freeman of the home; daughters, Lisa Annette Freeman of Bennettsville, Tabatha Freeman Strickland and husband Eric of Bennettsville; brothers, Terrell Freeman and wife Doris of Matthews, NC, Douglas Ray Freeman and wife Shirley of Florence, SC; grandchildren, Mandy Rodgers (Colin), Amy Freeman, Brandy Driggers (Lincoln), and Taylor Parker; great grandchildren, Caden Driggers, Alexis Parker, Kaylyn Driggers, and Breelyn Parker.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, July 15, 2022 at the Bennettsville First Pentecostal Holiness Church followed by interment in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the cemetery after the service.
