Janet Barrentine

Janet Barrentine passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at her residence. She was 63 years old.

Born in Bennettsville, Janet was a daughter of the late Larue Barrentine and Vergie Smith Barrentine. She attended First Bennettsville Pentecostal Holiness Church and was employed in the medical field. Janet had a fondness for cats, antiques, cooking, watching TV and movies, She loved her family and especially enjoyed being a caregiver to the elderly in her community. She will be missed.

Janet is predeceased by her parents and brother, Carl Barrentine.

She is survived by brothers, Joe H. Barrentine (Joanne) of Darlington and Charles L. Barrentine of Colorado; sisters, Nancy Barrentine Shepherd (Jimmy) of Hartsville and Betty Barrentine of Bishopville; and other beloved family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Riverside Cemetery in Dillon.
