Stacy Lee Brewer, age 40, of McColl, passed away peacefully Sunday morning at McLeod Hospice House on November 26th, 2023, after battling ALS (Lou Gehrig’s) for over a year.
Stacy was born in Laurinburg, NC. She was the daughter of the late Sandra Lee and Troy Eugene Brewer. Stacy was a 2001 graduate of Marlboro County High School. She then attended Northeastern Technical College for two years and transferred to the University of North Carolina-Pembroke to complete her Bachelor of Elementary Education. Stacy worked at Belk for over 15 years, then left for a managerial position at Ulta Beauty in 2016. She was the GM of Ulta Beauty in Florence at the time of her passing. She was a member of Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC. Stacy enjoyed traveling, the beach, and anything Walt Disney. She enjoyed wearing and styling makeup, watching movies, and vacationing with friends and family. She was a close and cherished friend to many and will truly be missed.
Stacy was preceded in death by her parents listed above; maternal grandparents, Mattie and Woodrow Walters; and paternal grandparents, Darrell Brewer and Ann Graves.
Stacy is survived by her brother, Travis Brewer (Brittany); and other beloved family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Victory World Outreach Center in Bennettsville, SC. The family will receive friends from 2pm until 3pm, just prior to the service.
