Vonnie Ray Jacobs was born in Bennettsville, SC to Clyde Jacobs and Coley Hunt. He was the oldest of four boys. He departed this life on March 14, 2023, in Laurinburg, NC. To know him was to love him and he marched to the beat of his own drum.

He is survived by his sons, Donald R. Jacobs Sr. (Jennifer) of Bennettsville and Billy Jacobs of Rockingham; brothers, Donald Jacobs of California and Todd Jacobs of Laurinburg; grandchildren, Trey McIntyre, Dustin McIntyre (Cynthia), Derek McIntyre (Brianna), Jacob McIntyre, Jackson Brown, Tianna Jacobs, Donald Jacobs Jr, Haven Jackson, Eugene Jackson, Kindal Jacobs, Leah Roller, Billy Jacobs Jr, Caleb Jacobs, Adrianna Jacobs, a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his parents listed above, his daughter Regina Jacobs, and his brother Prentiss Jacobs.

The family will receive friends at the home of Donald R Jacobs Sr @ 129 Forrest Drive, Bennettsville, SC at any time.
